Sales Coordinator

Purpose for this position:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing/coordinating customer orders with Virginia Tractor. Responsibilities include performing day-to-day operations that include financial transactions, such as: verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data. The Sales Coordinator will also interact daily with equipment vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers, including order entry, tracking, and invoicing. Other responsibilities include customer and salesmen support, report generation, and financial applications.

 Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation.
  • New & used whole goods and attachment inventory control.
  • Administration of sales and inventory-related items
  • Work with the service and parts departments in relation to sales activities
  • Assist with yard flow and organization.
  • Provide support to sales staff (Including Sales and Branch Management)
  • Prepare preliminary costing of equipment for sales management.
  • Assist walk-in customers.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Maintain and communicate current Knowledge of customer account operational requirements and business goals.
  • Monitor and timely communicate any competitive activity to management.
  • Accurate and timely processing of all communication related to a sale, including quotes, order entry, confirmations, acknowledgments, purchase orders, invoicing, lease documents, vendor communication, shipping instructions, and customer post-sale communications.
  • Represent Virginia Tractor professionally in all internal and external communications.

  • Business, financial, and logistical management knowledge
  • Knowledge of relevant practices and trends
  • Knowledge of key customer account operations
  • Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with current and future decision-makers
  • Associate degree in business, finance/accounting or equivalent work experience

Schedule

  • 8-Hour Shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Weekend Availability

Required:

Driver's license with ability and reliability to commute daily or relocate to Orange, VA 22960 before starting work.
