Service Writer/Advisor - All Locations

Type of Employment: Full-Time

This is a fast paced, high pressure, challenging position tasked with opening, reviewing and closing work orders, monitoring work in progress, and dispatching and leading a team of technicians throughout the equipment prep & repair cycle while working closely with the Parts and Sales Departments.

Major Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers as needed for maintenance updates including changes to schedule or work

• Complete repair orders, fuel analysis, and all paperwork involved in daily office procedures• Hold Vendors accountable for quality and adherence to schedule for outside work

• Led parts management process for location by timely receiving and process incoming orders as well as returning items to vendors

• Administrative functions such as typing and filing memos and letters

• Recording attendance of shop personnel

• Ordering supplies, mailing, and scheduling

• Accident reporting and administration

• Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, warranties, statements, and checks

• Operates computer terminal to input and retrieve data

• Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail

• Greets and assists customers and visitors via phone, email, and face-to-face interaction

• Other projects and tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or GED

• Experience: 3 + years of office administration experience

• Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Word, Excel

• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs.Requirements
