Job Description

The Store Manager oversees and is accountable for the overall operations of the Charlottesville dealership ensuring maximum sales and profitability through equipment, parts and services, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

Principal Responsibilities
Manage customer relationship process that includes; the interaction with the customer base, customer profiling, and classification, call scheduling and target marketing.
Assist the sales department as needed in the selling of equipment, products, and services to meet customers’ needs.
Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
Review dealership trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
Control shrink, expenses, and payroll.
Responsible for making bank deposits, posting payroll, and maintain financial records and statements.
Maintain an inventory control system that achieves company set turn goals.
Responsible for corporate marketing and PR and correspondence for dealerships.
Responsible participating in trade shows, coordinating events such as customer clinics, and field demonstrations to increase dealership visibility and overall sales goals and customer satisfaction.
Liaison between accounting and sales department- tracking volume bonus, fast start programs-Inventory reports-Settlements.
Maintain all company vehicles assigned to dealership.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular dealership management and staff meetings, dealership walk-through and audits, etc.
Continually evaluate and react to performance issues and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Direct and monitor training and development for all dealership personnel.
Provide management with required reports on a weekly and monthly basis or as needed.
Completing assigned projects and meeting assigned deadlines.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education/Experience
4 year business degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience
5+ years experience of management experience in a retail environment, preferably in the agricultural industry.Strong operations, front-end management and office management experience.
